"You can not..."

Gain anything unless you give something else up as a sacrifice. This is something that sounds simple enough, but is very true if you look at the world today. Even if you don't think about it, you give stuff up in order to fulfill your wants and needs. It completely changes your outlook on everything, even just how precious life really is, just by thinking about it. And of course, not everything that you gain can be positive, no matter what kind of trouble that you go through in order to get that outcome... Even though in the end, you do get the knowledge of what might happen if someone else is going through something similar. That is a good thing about having friends, or at least I think. When you put everything that you can in your power to sacrifice at the time for something good to come from it, it may just lay dorment for a while and never show itself until you give up hope... And that is why we need friends to be with in such times of need, and who knows? Maybe one of them has been through just what you are going through and will be happy to share what kind of outcome you can look forward to have
